IPA Letter to APA President

Dear Andrew: We
transmitirte, and through you to the rest of DC, the progress of organizing the Second Conference on "Lacan in IPA" entitled "Praxis: between technique and fundamentals "to be held at APA on 20 June 2009 from 8.30 to 14hs. In the same is in our interest to discuss the articulation of different contributions of Lacan with those of Klein, Winnicott, Garma, Bion, Strachey, Racker, Del Valle, Bleger, etc. horizontal workshops as theoretical and clinical discourse on the clinical workshops.
we found great enthusiasm in participation and discussion of items between colleagues Apa, APdeBA, Cordoba and Uruguay. The organizational meetings are open and will resume on March 11 to 21 in Apa.
The organizational proposal is this:
8.30 am. Registration.
9 am. Opening.
9.50 to 11 hs. Theoretical workshops.
11 to 11.30. Coffee and croissants.
11.30 to 13hs. Clinical workshops.
13 to 14 hours. Open and closing plenary.
The theoretical workshop themes revolved around:
superego and ideal of the self in the direction of the treatment.
Countertransference and position of the analyst.
The object, the anguish and grief.
Time and framing. Tariffs designed
are: Students $ 30, $ 80 Candidates
members $ 100 .- Previous experience has been very productive in terms of quality of trade and wealth of the debates on fundamental issues of theory, clinical and articulation of psychoanalysis with the institution. It also left an interesting economic balance as detailed in the attachment to the Treasury.
